NDT tests for vessels
A&S - Marine Solutions, in collaboration with a marine engineer, Mr. Idan Avni, performs inspections for vessels that include the following:
● Hull thickness tests using a PORTAgauge ® 5 device that operates based on ultrasonic technology
● Ultra-Sonic tests for tightness of storage/cargo compartments (constitutes a mandatory condition for cargo insurance), using the Portascanner® watertight PLUS device
● Moisture test for hulls made of fiberglass using the smm5-skipper-5 device
● Noise level test using a dedicated device SL-4033SD
● Surveys of commercial and private steel hulls and issuance of engineering approval (by a marine engineer)
The inspections are carried out by team members certified by COLTRACO Ultrasonics and hold certification credentials.
Management and maintenance of marine platforms
A&S - Marine Solutions performs all the required routine maintenance tasks necessary for maintaining operational seaworthiness, at any given time.
The A&S - Marine Solutions team is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end tasks, ranging from basic part replacements such as light fixtures, filters, etc., to managing and handling breakdown maintenance.
The team has over 30 years of practical experience in electrical and mechanical work across a variety of vessels.
Preparation for the Israel Shipping and Port Authority test
(periodic sailing ability)
An in-depth examination of the vessel that identifies failures and malfunctions, handling them, and preparing the vessel for successful audit by in the Israel Shipping and Port Authority that examines periodic seaworthiness.
