Meet The Crew

Alon
Alon has 30 years of experience in the Navy, during which he held a variety of positions. These ranged from professional technical roles, through instructing and guiding all chief mechanics, to managerial roles in the field of machinery and electrical systems on Naval vessels.
Alon’s accumulated experience, extensive knowledge, and systemic vision allow him to identify the technical needs of organizations, companies, and factories and plan and tailor engineering solutions or detailed operational, maintenance, and training programs that streamline processes within the organization.
"After so many years in a complex system like the Navy, I have a proven ability to identify technical needs and match them with optimal solutions. The engineering solution I provide is always supported by detailed and precise management and training frameworks that significantly improve the functionality and productivity of both marine and land-based machinery and electrical systems. It’s important to me that the clients who receive services from A&S Marine Solutions get thorough, professional, deep, and comprehensive responses."
Alon has extensive experience managing technical maritime projects, training, instructing, and writing procedures and operating instructions. During his many years of service, he wrote technical and operational procedure manuals tracked, reviewed, and supervised them as part of managing the technical and operational readiness of Naval vessels in elite units of the Navy.
Alon has also expanded his technical knowledge to yacht sailing as a hobby and navigates for fun on land in off-road races like “Grutarally” (The biggest junkyard rally in Israel).

Shahar
After 25 years of service in the Navy, during which he worked in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, wrote, implemented, and developed training programs, and managed complex projects across the seas, Shahar decided to take the extensive knowledge he had gained and apply it at A&S Marine Solutions.
"After returning from three years of working on the SA’AR6 Corvettes Shipbuilding project in Germany, and upon my retirement, I decided not to part from the sea and to continue working in the field I love, even in the private sector.
It is important to me to share and utilize the knowledge I have accumulated over the years for the benefit of companies, businesses, and individuals whose main occupation or passion revolves around the sea. The ability to work on complex projects, with companies, machines, and, of course, people, allows me to analyze needs, develop plans, train, and implement a wide range of solutions."
Shahar has extensive hands-on experience in marine mechanical and electrical systems and an impressive ability to read existing CAD drawings, professionally upgrade them for maximum system efficiency, or, alternatively, draft an entirely new engineering solution. He excels in handling tight deadlines and complex challenges—and he's not a bad soccer player either…
